Argyll Coach House, a self catering holiday cottage, is tucked away down a quiet street, just a few minutes’ walk from Cirencester’s historic market place. The entrance is through the owners’ walled garden.

The main living space consists of an open plan kitchen, dining and sitting area. There is underfloor heating throughout and also a wood burning stove; an initial load of logs and kindling are provided free of charge. There is a TV and DVD player with freeview, an ipod docking station, Wi-Fi, board games and a selection of DVDs and books. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, oven and microwave. Plates and bowls can be found in the sideboard.

Upstairs, the bedroom has a king-sized bed. A small glass balcony looks down to the ground floor and a picture book window overlooks the garden. A tiled bathroom with a bath and shower leads from the bedroom.

The coach house adjoins the house of the owners (Rosie and Mark) who have lived in Cirencester for twenty years. They have a wealth of local knowledge.

There is a sitting area for guests directly outside the coach house and guests are more than welcome to share the rest of the walled garden with the owners and their two children (aged 9 and 7).

Bed linen, towels, duvet and tea towels are provided. Initial supplies of tea, coffee and milk are also provided, as are Bramley body wash and bubble bath.

Babies under 18 months are welcome. A travel cot, cot linen and highchair can be provided on request. A babysitting service is also available.

If you would like to bring your bicycles, secure lock-up can be provided in the owners’ garage.

Argyll Coach House is a non smoking house and pets are not permitted.

There is some free parking on Carpenters Lane and the streets around us, although this can be limited. We recommend the Beeches long stay car park, which is 3 minutes walk away. The charge is £3.40 per day and you can pay for up to six days at one time. Sunday parking is free.

Argyll Coach House does not have a washing machine. There is a laundrette a few minutes walk away, which is open from 7.30am until 7pm seven days a week. A washing service is available from 10am until 5pm from Monday to Friday.

There is an M&S Simply Food store five minutes walk away. Cirencester also has Tesco, Waitrose and Lidl supermarkets.
